Here’s some sketches of the two heroes (click on the post to see all of the images):

These are just thumbnail sketches, trying to find the costumes and feel for the characters. I wanted the woman to look graceful and agile, and the warrior a more bulky and covered in heavy armor.

Here’s the process of finding the shape of the woman’s face. The newest design to the left. I used Jennifer Love Hewitt as reference, but the designs didn’t end up like I wanted them to.

Here’s more experiments with character, with the one in the middle being pretty close to how I wanted her to look like. You can see that I enjoyed making that sketch, because I only shade sketches I’m fairly happy with.

This… Is just a disaster. It started with the pose from the previous picture, and I just messed around with it. I have learned a bit more about PhotoShop, but that’s about it. The pose is horrible, the face, the… Yeah… Most of it. I’m happy with the jacket texture though.
