So, this is a mandatory blog post… Which I’m feeling forced to write. I just want to sleep and rest.
I think I’m just going to vent my frustrations here.
We planned to start working on the previz before the weekend before this one. But it turned out the scene was bug infested. The scene was up and running on monday, leaving us… Not very much time to make the previz.
I think we started on tuesday, churning out shot after shot, while Michael rendered them out.
This was a very painful week for me. Having to get up, walk quickly to the train station. Stay at school for some hours, producing shot after shot. Hurrying to catch the train home. Changing clothes. Walking/running to the bus. Walking quickly inside Skjettensenteret and working in the post section of Meny. Stressing to finish in time to catch the bus home. Arriving at home. Eating “dinner”. Falling asleep.
Repeat, repeat and repeat.
I don’t feel like working on this project anymore. Due to… Not very positive responses to the previz, both from outside and inside the team. But I know this is just because I’m exhausted. Very! (To team, you need not worry, I will regain my will to work on it)
Alexander and I cut the previz together on Saturday and added some sound.
We felt that the sound ruined the cut, until we, just for fun, slapped a song called “Shetland” on top of the montage. And what do you know, it works!
Or so we felt…
I guess I’ll just have to wait until tomorrow to hear what the rest of the group is thinking.
