Trying to speed paint

I watched some speed painting on the internet and got incredibly inspired by it, so here’s one of the very few speed paintings I’ve done in my life:

Girl

I’ve had a lot of problems drawing girls, but fortunately I stumbled upon a tutorial on idrawgirls.com.

This is what I ended up with. It might nok look like much, but I’ve never been able to create a picture like that without real-life reference.

Back with horsie!

Ok, so the whole sketch-a-day project was a failure, but here’s a new drawing:

I made this one for a friend of mine. Took some hours divided in two days to finish. Not being any good at using different pencils I just made the whole thing with a 2B pencil on A4 paper.

Her horse’s name is Fame.

I didn’t expect to use that much time on it, but I’m quite happy with the result.

In other news: Michael and I are going to England 23 September, with his father driving the car. We will arrive 25 September then I will start with Digital Character Animation goodness!
